Advisors Assistant Updates Email Archiving

Outlook Users Can Now Choose Archiving Method

Client Marketing Systems, Inc., parent company of the highly popular CRM program, Advisors Assistant®, is pleased to announce several new features that have been added to its Outlook email archiving function. These new features enable Advisors Assistant users to streamline how often they check Outlook for new emails and when they are archived.

In addition to the ability to archive emails as they are sent and received, Advisors Assistant has added email archiving based on a timer that runs inside of Outlook. Users who check email every few minutes and who do not want to interrupt their workflow while on Outlook will find this new method much easier to use.

Now Advisors Assistant users can set a timer telling Outlook to archive every couple of hours, or as often as they want to, all the way out to once a day. Additionally, a countdown timer has also been added, so when it’s time to archive the emails Outlook gives 15 seconds notice, so that users can skip an interval if they are busy in other parts of Outlook.

“We put the Advisors Assistant user in control of the archiving,” says Patrick Dempsey, President and CEO of Client Marketing Systems.  “We even provided the ability for a user to archive at any time if they don’t want to wait until the next interval,” he adds.

These new features of Advisors Assistant’s CRM join the entire suite of Outlook, Exchange Server, and Office 365 integration features, including syncing of contacts, appointments, and tasks with all three of the versions of Outlook.
