Orion Advisor Services Rolls Out Salesforce Financial Service Cloud Integration; Introduces New Billing and Payment Capabilities

Orion Advisor Services, LLC ("Orion"), a premier portfolio accounting service provider for financial advisors, today announced it is extending the reach of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud with 12 new billing capabilities that will allow users to aggregate, schedule, pay and report seamlessly between the two platforms. Financial Services Cloud is generally available for purchase today, empowering advisors to build deeper, 1-to-1 client relationships, be more productive and engage more holistically with clients anywhere and on any device.

Orion’s full portfolio accounting system is accessible through the Financial Services Cloud, syncing household and financial account data, contextual links to access Orion reports and screen shares from the Salesforce user interface. Integration features incorporate a two-way synchronization method to report performance data, cost basis and cash balances. Users can view these functions through a single sign-on feature to streamline accessibility.

“At Orion, everything we do is driven by our belief that when you’ve met one advisor, you’ve met one advisor—each one is unique in their approach and challenges,” said CEO of Orion, Eric Clarke. “Orion and Salesforce have worked together to listen to the specific needs of these advisors, and have developed solutions that streamline account management processes through a personalized approach. We’re proud to be a trusted partner and continue to welcome new advancements that enable us to put the advisor first.”

Orion Connect, the underlying application that supports the integration, has been a part of the Salesforce AppExchange for three years and is currently serving 200 firms and more than 2,400 individual accounts. This integration is one of a dozen others that have been launched through the latest Orion Connect update, with features that include expanded billing capabilities and asset level synchronization.

"The future is here, and it's advice, not administrative tasks. Salesforce is transforming the advisor-client relationship for the digital age," said Simon Mulcahy, GM of Financial Services, Salesforce.  “Orion is supporting Salesforce in its mission to deliver a new era through proactive, personalized and goal-based collaborative advice.”

Orion Connect is available through the Salesforce AppExchange. To learn more, visit www.orionadvisor.com/integrations.
