Rise of the eAdvisor

Joel Bruckenstein’s T3 Technology Conference for Financial Advisors will Provide Tools and Advice for Growth in the Digital World

Fintech expert Joel Bruckenstein, CFP®, has announced the preliminary agenda for the eleventh annual T3 Technology Conference for financial advisory firms. A mix of technology providers, data scientists and financial advisors will spend the three official conference days talking about the rise of the eAdvisor and how to better serve clients while scaling and achieving growth. The biggest and best technology companies and custodians as well as an exciting array of new and emerging fintech innovators will showcase their wares and share their futuristic insights at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, February 10-12, 2016. Pre-conference activities will occur on February 9th.

Designed to bring together independent financial advisors and company decision-makers with the creators of the industry’s most innovative technology solutions, this annual industry gathering has become the place to learn about and do research on the best marketing, productivity and workflow solutions available.

“Many advisors are not spending enough on technology,” says Barron's Top Advisor Ron Carson. “A good technology spend will promote you whereas too little spent on technology will expose you. For financial advisors interested in staying ahead of the technology curve — and that should really be every one of us — the T3 Advisor Conferences provide a one-stop shopping and learning experience.”

“The recent rise of the robo-advisors has actually been part of a broader explosion of ‘fintech’ (financial technology) solutions across the broad spectrum of financial services,” says industry influential and prolific writer / speaker Michael Kitces. “When it comes to Advisor FinTech solutions the Technology Tools for Today (T3) conference has become the go-to event for advisors to see the latest and greatest. The 2016 conference is likely to be the place that a number of entirely new companies and providers debut their services as well. The T3 Advisor conference is the best one-stop shopping experience available today.”

T3 TECHNOLOGY LABS – FEBRUARY 9th
New this year: T3 Technology Labs, an interactive experience for attendees. On February 9th, a pre-conference / arrival day, the top tier sponsors will host technology labs as an “apple store” type experience. Attendees can visit technology labs to observe and learn about the latest technology and services available, along with opportunities to receive one-on-one support with those platforms.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS – FEBRUARY 10th
February 10 will feature main stage presentations from eMoney, Fidelity, Junxure, MoneyGuidePro, Morningstar and Riskalyze. There will be four Super Session Breakouts that afternoon, including a Fireside Chat with Joel Bruckenstein and Paul West, Managing Director of Peak Advisor Alliance (www.peakadvisoralliance), a large and highly respected coaching service that also provides turnkey digital content and the Digital Fortress marketing communications platform for financial advisors. Bruckenstein will also host a practitioner panel while TD Ameritrade and other top-tier sponsors will host Super Sessions focused on their insights and focused solutions. There will be a Grand Opening Reception in the exhibit hall that night.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS – FEBRUARY 11th
February 11 will feature main stage presentations from Laserfiche and Oranj. There will be eight Gold Breakout Sessions, two Super Sessions and sixteen Flash Sessions that afternoon. A highlight of the afternoon will be the Value Proposition Workshop led by Academy Award®-Winning Producer Ed Saxon. Saxon will discuss why a polished value proposition statement is a necessity and share tips from the world’s best storytellers – Hollywood filmmakers – to help the financial advisors attending craft a personal brand story that will build trust with clients and prospects.

The exhibit hall will be open all day so that advisors can visit with the fintech innovators who will be demonstrating their solutions and answering questions about their integrations and plans for the future. This is a great opportunity for advisors to get 1:1 face time with the Chief Technology Officers and data scientists who actually create the solutions they need to better serve their clients and run more profitable businesses.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS – FEBRUARY 12th
There will be numerous Flash Sessions on the final day, dealing with a wide array of fintech topics. The exhibit hall will close right after lunch and the conference will officially conclude mid-afternoon (the afternoon sessions are still being mapped out).

PREVIEW OF NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
The T3 Conferences are not just a hotbed of activity and conversation. Many of the industry’s leading technology companies and rising stars hold and make major announcements at T3. For example: Fidelity will share details on its future-ready technology platform for home offices, advisors and investors during its presentation and in the Fidelity booth.

As part of its continuing ClientFirst initiative, Junxure is set to release the Junxure Cloud integration with ClientView, its custom portal offering, as well as the client service monitor in Q1.  The client service monitor is an automated “safety net” feature that ensures firm commitments to clients are kept and all tasks are completed. Also in the works for 2016 is the release of Version 3 of Junxure Cloud, which will feature a new reporting engine, a dashboard builder, and additional deep integrations.

eMoney will talk about their completely reimagined client experience. The team is focused on helping advisors understand “the why” in their clients’ stories and how building trust has the power to transform relationships. They say a more personal and engaging approach empowers clients to connect their financial decisions to the people and things that matter most in their lives, strengthens the client/advisor relationship, and positions both the client and the advisor for greater success.

As a courtesy to members of the media who will be covering the conference in person – and for those who are unable to make the trip but would like to stay on top of all the news – Bruckenstein’s communications team will be posting major announcements on the T3 blog (http://www.technologytoolsfortoday.com/blog). They will be sending out a daily digest of those announcements to members of the press. Anyone who would like to be notified immediately when an announcement goes up on the T3 blog can sign up for an RSS feed (http://www.technologytoolsfortoday.com/blog/feed).
